print the full chart in eclinicalworks

do the standard inside the emr and then to get the scanned docs do this

I believe I have already posted something about this before. I would do a search. Basically to summarize, \\servername\ecwdrive\eclinicalworks\ftp\mobiledoc has all the scanned images which start with a number. That number is the patient account number. Simply drag and drop the entire patient record onto a local drive, verify it, and burn/print smile

popcorn hour

So yesterday I went on line and bought the popcorn hour media streamer.

It should enable me to stream movies from my NAS to any of the tedious that it is plug to period it has no fan at all so it should be able to be completely silent.

I will include a link and I'm going to try to figure out how to do a countdown timer.

Smugmug

I have used a lot of different services to store my videos and photos. Currently I'm using picasa and youtube.

Now I just found smugmug, you should check it out it's amazing and very reasonably priced for what it can do.

I'm always looking for something reasonably priced. It doesn't have to be free, but reasonable pricing.

voicemail hack

If you ever wanted to skip the voicemail message on someone's cell phone prior to leaving them a message, hit

7 for singular
# for tmobile
* for verizon

the problem is that if you hit the wrong one one some networks you will have to restart over on the message.

old blogs

well I was playing around on blogspot and discovered 2 other blogs that I had setup and never used, and blogspot was actually pretty intelligent and was able to link those into my account. However I never actually did anything on them.

I may end up going back to obgyn.blogspot.com in the future because it seems like a easier to remember site.

How to restrict access on internet explorer

for those doctors among us who also happened to be the information technology support for their office we probably need to limit our staffs access to Internet explorer as well. Now each of them needs to get on and explore some of the time to be able to get to different web sites that are involved with work but we also need to limit some things.

Here's some help.

anatomy of a cold

this interesting link should be helpful to all my patients especially those that are undergoing the cold and flu symptoms that we are seeing so much in the office lately.
link

this is one of my favorite blogs

http://www.kevinmd.com/blog/

it's one that I check on a daily basis.interestingly he actually gets advertising for his stuff. I don't know exactly what I need to do to get some funding for this but it is certainly something interesting to consider.

statistics tracker

well have now added a statistics tracker to the web site which I do find is pretty interesting because apparently me and a couple people in China are the only people looking at this web site

my current reading medical blogs

medical blogs

my blog

if anyone actually starts to read this just let you know I actually use DragonDictate to dictate this entire message and to dictate everything that is on this blog. I typically don't read or even look at what is being put on the screen so who knows what is happening. However most of the time people send things to their blog via their telephone and they can't see it either so I'm sure that this is probably just about the same as that.

I recently had the opportunity i.e. I had the money to purchase a new microphone for my office computer and I have found that it is very handy to use. I'll put a link to it right here.

the microphone that I'm using right now is this.
