New HTPC
I am working on creating a new home theater PC. The plan is for this to replace the home theater PC which is been working well for the last three years in my media room. Currently however I am only able to record one HDTV signal at a time. The idea is by upgrading to Windows 7, I should be able to record hopefully four streams at a time in HDTV and four streams at a time in standard definition.
I plan this time is to use a home theater case which actually fits in with the other devices in my media room. I'm also planning on attempting to use the new CPUs from Intel. I will be attempting to blog here regarding what different hardware choices that I have made and also the effects of installing these things.
In addition my plan is to take my old home theater PC converted to Linux and put Xbox media Center on it so that I can use that to play movies.
Motherboard. Intel X58 Extreme DX58SO $272
Other Motherboard MSI X58 Eclipse $300 this one has very poor reviews on new egg
another motherboard Asus P6T Deluxe $284 this one has very good reviews on new egg
only 3 memory slots, need more,
CPU Core i7 920 $230
RAM DDR3 2GB $49

print the full chart in eclinicalworks
do the standard inside the emr and then to get the scanned docs do this
I believe I have already posted something about this before. I would do a search. Basically to summarize, \\servername\ecwdrive\eclinicalworks\ftp\mobiledoc has all the scanned images which start with a number. That number is the patient account number. Simply drag and drop the entire patient record onto a local drive, verify it, and burn/print
Cheers,

popcorn hour
So yesterday I went on line and bought the popcorn hour media streamer.
It should enable me to stream movies from my NAS to any of the tedious that it is plug to period it has no fan at all so it should be able to be completely silent.
I will include a link and I'm going to try to figure out how to do a countdown timer.
