Ok, so i just spent all day on setting up Nfs on my popcorn hour and my promise ns4300n, man that took forever,

don't forget about how to do it.

this is a different build that I'm thinking about doing. I'm considering either a higher-end Intel core i7 or this more lower end using a qua core CPU.

ASUS P5N7A-VM Motherboard Review

New HTPC

I am working on creating a new home theater PC. The plan is for this to replace the home theater PC which is been working well for the last three years in my media room. Currently however I am only able to record one HDTV signal at a time. The idea is by upgrading to Windows 7, I should be able to record hopefully four streams at a time in HDTV and four streams at a time in standard definition.

I plan this time is to use a home theater case which actually fits in with the other devices in my media room. I'm also planning on attempting to use the new CPUs from Intel. I will be attempting to blog here regarding what different hardware choices that I have made and also the effects of installing these things.

In addition my plan is to take my old home theater PC converted to Linux and put Xbox media Center on it so that I can use that to play movies.
